If you’re driving an electric vehicle, Grazalema now has EV charging points conveniently located in the main Plaza de los Asomaderos car park and Parking el Tajo near the swimming pool. Remember that availability can vary during peak times. Both sites are only a short walk from the village centre, making it easy to top up your car’s battery while exploring Grazalema’s charming streets and nearby walking trails.
Parking Options in Grazalema
Public Parking Lots (Aparcamiento Público)
Grazalema has a couple of designated public parking lots located around the village. These parking areas are ideal for visitors, as they offer easy access to the main attractions while helping to preserve the village’s narrow, historic streets. These carparks are totally free.
Parking Polideportivo: If you are arriving from the direction of Ronda or Malaga and it is a very busy day (or there is a fiesta going on) then just before the petrol station there is limited parking by the sports centre. (Take the right turn signposted for the Villa Turística hotel.) It is just a 5 minute walk up the hill past the petrol station to the village centre.
Parking Camping: If you are arriving to Grazalema from Seville, Arcos de la Frontera or El Bosque and it is a very busy day (or there is a fiesta going on) then you can park pretty much anywhere from the bridge (by the football ground) down to the camping car park. Its a 10 minute walk from here down to the village centre. The camping car park is also the one you need if you are going to be walking the circular trail know as “sendero endrinal”.
Plaza de Los Asomaderos: This is the largest and most convenient parking area in Grazalema. Located next to the main plaza of the village, with the entrance between the statue of the bull and the church, it’s just a short walk from here to the main square, restaurants, and shops.
This car park tends to fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons, so arriving early is recommended.
IMPORTANT: Don’t forget about the weekly Tuesday market. NO PARKING HERE ON A TUESDAY (normally untill around 2 or 3 pm.) The fine is 60 euros and is handed out by the local police who have their office on the Plaza de España next to the town hall.
Remember also that this car park is closed during the July event of the bull running (Lunes de Toro de Cuerda), the August feria and also the last two weeks of September and the first week of October because of the “bandits” Sangre y Amour en la Sierra historical recreation event

Parking el Tajo: Next to the village swimming pool, this parking lot offers the availability of two car parks (though they are a lot smaller than asomaderos.) From here, it’s a 2 minute walk down into the village square.

These spots are located along the road leading to popular trails like the Endrinal (Puerto del Boyar / Camping) or the Pinsapar forest on the CA9104 to Zahara de la Sierra.
Continuing on the road to Zahara de la Sierra you will find the highest viewpoint in the area of the Puerto de la Palomas and further along the car park for the Garganta Verde trailhead
